AILEEN & DOUG ARE MARRIED | HANS FAHDEN VINEYARDS, NAPA, CA

Aileen & Doug are married!

I’ve been friends with Aileen for almost 4 years now, and it was an absolute honor when I was asked to shoot their wedding. Shooting for another awesome wedding photographer is always intimidating, but they completely trusted me and made my job so much easier! But come on, really, look at these two. It’s pretty hard to take a bad photo of them! You might also remember their picnic themed engagement session last month. Too bad their dog, Lucky, couldn’t make it to the wedding! This wedding might go down in history as one of my favorite of ALL time. It had everything; a gorgeous winery as a venue, a freaking WINE CAVE for the reception, gorgeous handmade details, awesome couple, laughters, tears, what more can you ask for?

Doug contacted me a few weeks ago and asked for my help in selecting the right film camera for Aileen as a surprise wedding gift. OMG,  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride so happy to receive her present! In return, Aileen got Doug a few golf clubs since he loves to golf.  I also had the pleasure of attending their rehearsal dinner where I got to know both sides of the families. They are all so nice and made me feel part of the family right away.

Doug & Aileen, seriously, THANK YOU so much for having me at your wedding. I treasure your friendship and I look forward to see how your family grows…..hopefully VERY FAST according to Doug’s father. 🙂
