For this adorable couple, Freddie and Julie, we decided to do their engagement session at Laguna Beach. They live only 20 minutes away, so naturally these two love birds spend quite a bit of their time on the beach. They both work in the medical field, love sushi, and are looking to start their own family right away. Since my wife and I are an interracial couple as well, we had quit a bit in common. We shared even more good times after the engagement session at a great Japanese restaurant called Kaisen Kaiten. Sorry, had to give them a plug, it was DELICIOUS!

We started off shooting around downtown Laguna, but it was wayyyyyyy too crowded. We eventually went down to this secluded cove (don’t even ask where it is, it’s my secret spot!) and had a blast shooting all sort of fun images. Including my first sunset engagement shot! Freddie & Julie, you guys are such a cute couple and I really enjoyed meeting you. I look forward to your wedding next month at the Cannons Restaurant in Dana Point! It will be epic!
