CHRIS & ELAINE ARE MARRIED | NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Elaine & Chris are married!!

Where do I start with this… Chris contacted me about 3 months ago on my facebook fan page. I always love a good destination wedding, but a destination wedding in New York?? We exchanged emails and then did a Skype consultation. We really hit it off during our consultation and I was beyond excited when Chris informed me they were going to book me for their wedding. The last time I went to New York was about 10 years ago, so it was a dream come true for me to be able to shoot a wedding in New York more than a decade later.  I met Elaine & Chris at Ritz Carlton’s hotel bar on the day that I arrived.  Being the thoughtful couple they are, they even got me a book on the High Line as a present! They also invited me to their pre-wedding dinner with close friends and family. I couldn’t have asked for better clients. And honestly, after the wedding, I feel like I’ve made two new friends! Their bridal party was also as nice as the couple was. They’ve all known each other for about 30 years, and I could definitely feel the love between this close group of friends. For the bridal portraits, we shot at the famous (and super crowded) High Line! If you don’t know what it is; High Line is an elevated railroad track that cuts through the meat packing district in Manhattan. But it has since been converted into an elevated park in the middle of the City. Pretty cool place! We also shot their day after portrait session at Grand Central Station and Time Square. And you can see those photos at the end of the wedding images. Hope you guys love the photos as much as I loved being part of their day!
