When a client trusts me to shoot their destination wedding, it is always a special honor. But when the wedding is literally halfway across the world, it’s in a category all in its own. I had the absolute pleasure of documenting Mike & Leona’s beautiful destination wedding at The Surin Phuket resort in Thailand earlier this year, and it was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever been part of. I first met this lovely couple at a coffee shop in San Francisco while I was there shooting another session; and I instantly knew this was the couple I would love to work with.
