Shannon & Justin are engaged!! So Shannon and I….we go wayyyyyyy back. When I first started photography, I actually used to 2nd shoot for Shannon almost exclusively. At the time she was still shooting on her own and now shoots with Justin. They are both extremely talented photographers. I still remember the first time I shot for her at some golf course in Corona, and we just really hit it off. I was the awkward 2nd photographer who didn’t know what to do, and she showed me everything I was supposed to do right. My career wouldn’t be where it is today without all the opportunities Shannon gave me. I’m really grateful for that! So you can imagine how excited I was when Justin & Shannon asked me to shoot their upcoming wedding.  Such an honor to shoot for one of my closest friends on the biggest day of her life. I will save the story on how we all met the first time when I blog the wedding later this month, haha. Let’s just say I was there the day they laid eyes on each other. And as they say, the rest is history. 🙂  For their engagement session we shot at a local trail near Los Angeles. It has all the character of an awesome rustic session. Perfect Southern California sunset, gorgeous nature scenery, and of course Justin & Shannon looked great! They even brought their cute one eyed pug, Jack to the shoot.  Thanks again to Shannon & Justin for having me, can’t wait for your Halloween wedding destination wedding in Napa later this month!!
