HOLA!!!
If you’ve been wondering where I have been the last 5 days or so, I was in Playa De Carmen shooting Virginia & Michael’s international wedding! Make sure you come back and visit the blog in a few days, because I’ll be posting their wedding. But before the wedding, I shot Virginia & Michael’s engagement session at the Tulum ruins in Playa De Carmen. Tulum is an old Myan walled City on the shores of Play De Carmen, believed to have been built around 13th century. Just to be able to visit this ruin is a treat in itself, but to also photograph a gorgeous couple is sure to be on any photographer’s bucket list. Even though it was hot and humid (we are talking about 90~100% humidity), they still managed to look like super models! After we shot their engagement session at Tulum ruins, we visited another place called Akumal. We snapped a few more shots of Virginia & Michael on the beach and in the clear blue ocean, and had the most amazing food at a little restaurant right off the ocean.
I want to give a special thanks to my good friends Erich Chen & Nathan Nowack for coming along with me on this trip. My lovely wife also came as an assistant. It was truly a photography dream team, and I can’t be happier with the images we were able to capture for the couple!
