Kristine & Alferd are expecting their first baby! I’ve known this gorgeous couple for a pretty long time now. Kristine works with my wife as labor and delivery nurse,  I was actually a guest at their wedding,  Shot their trash the dress session a few years ago, and Alferd actually attended one of my workshops for wedding photographers.  So yes, we go wayyyy back.  For their maternity session they wanted a nature-y feel, so I went location scouting and found this big open field in Fontana, CA.  The light was gorgeous in the late afternoon, and we took full advantage of the golden hour. I love how differently natural light can be manipulated, even though we shot this entire session within a 100 feet radius.  Congratulations again to Alferd, Kristine, and soon to come Kimberly!
