I am very proud to announce our newest associate photographer Aileen!
I have been friends with Aileen for about 4-5 years now (has it been that long??) and she has been one of my go to 2nd photographers for the last few years. In addition to being an awesome photographer she’s just a joy to be around. I actually shot Aileen & Doug’s gorgeous destination wedding at Hans Fahden Vineyard in Calistoga last year! When Aileen and I started discussing about the possibility of bringing her onboard to be an associate photographer, I was super excited about the idea. She shoots similar to my style and I trust her ability to capture our clients’ big day 100%. Two qualities I look for in my associate photographers. I think our clients will be very happy with her! Here’s a little bio about Aileen from herself!
Photography has always been in my life and I owe my love for photography to my dad, who is also a great photographer. Although I may have hated being in front of the camera as a child, I love staying behind it and capturing beauty through a viewfinder. Ansel Adams once said that a photograph is usually looked at – seldom looked into. I love documenting the natural beauty and happiness of my couples while bringing out the uniqueness of people in love. Images should be a reflection of who you are, individually and as a couple, and so I want my images to be unique to you. I capture meaningful MOMENTS because this is how you’ll remember yourselves on your wedding day, and it is my job to document your story. I feel blessed to be part of other people’s lives and to be witness to the joyous moments life has to offer. I hope you’ll invite me to be a part of your story, too.I live in Los Angeles with my husband, Doug, and our baby boy, Mason. We also must not forget our first (fur) baby, Lucky — a 4-lb yorkie that thinks he’s bigger than he really is. And from time to time, Doug and I enjoy training for half marathons and triathlons. Things I LOVE… my family / peonies / bubble baths / dark chocolate / french macarons / black + white stripes / Audrey Hepburn / puppies.
