Oh Mastin Presets, where have you been my whole life! As you might know, I’m a huge advocate for Mastin Labs Presets; and in my opinion, it’s the BEST film emulation presets for Lightroom, ACR out there. By a huge margin.  I’ve written many review for the color packs; Portra & Fuji, and you can also download a completely free Mastin Labs Film Presets User Guide.  However, I’ve never reviewed the B&W pack until NOW.   My favorite B&W film stock is ilford 3200. It’s a very versatile film that can be shot both in low light & daylight.  I used to be strictly digital shooter once reception starts, but I’m finding myself shooting more and more ilford 3200 during reception. I just LOVE the grain & the romance the images evoke! Until Mastin Labs, I could not find any presets on the market that could match the grain & the specific tonality of ilford 3200. But as you can see from these comparison photos; Mastin Labs Ilford 3200 can replicate near identical results from both 35mm film and medium format film scans.   All images on the left are digital, film scans on right. All film scanned by one and only The FIND lab.
