I get asked this quite a bit. The question is always “why do you put on workshops to teach other photographers your secrets??” I can tell you that first, putting on a workshop for other wedding photographers is never about making money. It’s about sharing what I have learned with other photographers so we can all rise together as an industry. One quote I really believe in is “rising tide raises all boats.” I believe, if somehow I can help to raise the bar of our industry, everybody will benefit in the long run. It is with that in mind, that I put on wedding photography workshops in Southern California at least once a year, and the last workshop was definitely the best to date! We had students that flew in from as far as Chicago and Idaho to attend the workshop, and they were all amazing photographers to work with!
The Folly Estate in Orange County served as the gorgeous backdrop for the stylized portion of my workshop. Folly Estate is an unique private estate in Capitrano Beach that is also used for small intimate wedding receptions. We were truly lucky to get access to this beautiful venue! I want to first of all thank all the wonderful vendors that came together for this workshop, please make sure you check them out at the bottom of the post! And of course I also have to thank all the attendees for coming to the wedding photography workshop! Choosing a workshop is never easy and I am really honored that you trusted me to provide a valuable workshop. Enough writing, on to beautiful photos!
