Ever since I started my business 5 years ago, I’ve made it a mission to continuously learn from other photographers in the wedding photography industry. One of the workshops I’ve taken is with none other than Melissa Jill Photography. If you don’t know how she is, check out her website to see how AWESOME she is! Since the workshop a few years ago, we’ve kept in touch and met up for dinner a few times. This is such a great industry to be in, and I treasure her friendship greatly! So when I found out she was coming back to Southern California to host another workshop, I volunteered to shoot some behind the scenes photos for her. It was more just an excuse to hang out, catch up, and shoot something for fun. Not to mention we are in the middle of full swing of wedding season right now in Southern California, and it’s good to shoot something a bit different just to get my mind off working mode 24/7. I got to capture Melissa Jill teaching the class and also teaching about posing & interacting with clients! I also snapped a few photos of our gorgeous models Mike Arick & Erica.  The workshop was held at Promise Tangerman with SiteHouse Design’s beautiful home and I am so happy I got to meet Promise, her husband Brian, and their adorable Goldenpoodle Parker! Melissa brought her dog Dixie to the workshop as well. Cutest dogs, EVER.   After the workshop was over, Melissa actually took some head shots of me and I can’t wait to see them! I can’t believe I haven’t had any head shots done in almost 3 years!  Thanks again to Melissa, Sara, and Promise for having me, I had an awesome time hanging out with all of you!
