WHAT A WEEK!
This has been my busiest month, EVER, and last week was just insanely busy. I am so fortunate to be doing what I love for a living, I wouldn’t trade it for the world! But maybe, just maybe, once in a while. It would be good to put down the camera for a few days. 🙂 At the last calculation, I traveled over 1,300 miles in one week. I went from Lancaster all the way up to San Jose. 2 engagement sessions, 1 maternity session, and a wedding! We also officially launched www.wedding-bros.com! If you haven’t heard of Wedding Bros, it’s only the GREATEST BLOG EVER CREATED FOR GROOMS. You really should head over there and check it out!
So to start the week off, I had such a fun session with Khaoi & Dara for their engagement session at a local fair! They really wanted something fun that will reflect their personalities, and I’m so glad we found a fair we could shoot at! Here are some of my favorites from the session;
Then on Thursday, I had the pleasure of shooting Juan & Christina’s engagement session at Laguna Beach! I have yet to blog that session but it was a good one. Juan & Christina currently live in Ohio and I actually only met them for the first time at the session. We had our original consultation via Skype! Can’t wait for their wedding later this year in L’Auberge Del Mar in San Diego! Here are some of my favorites from their session!
As if that wasn’t enough traveling in one week, I flew up to see a ex-client, I shot their international wedding in Shanghai, China, and engagement session in Wakiki, ex-Jeremy Chou Photography Workshop attendee, and just overall a great guy. Ken & his wife Candy are now expecting their first baby boy! And it was such an honor to document such an important milestone in their lives! They currently live in San Jose, and that’s where we shot their session! Here are a few of my favorite images from their maternity session in San Jose;
FINALLY, on Sunday, I photographed a beautiful wedding at Ponte Winery in Temecula! Can’t wait to blog this wedding! Beautiful couple and venue, what more can I ask for? Now what did I do for fun you asked? I am so glad you did! My daughter started soccer this week! And I was so glad I got to see her practice. Yes, I officially became a soccer dad, minus the minivan. My daughters also got a chance to dress up as little cowgirls at school, so much fun! So that was my busy week’s recap! Stay tuned this week when I blog the wedding from Ponte Winery and more!
