If you’ve been following my blog, you probably would have seen the wedding I just shot in Manhattan, New York. , as in all destination weddings I do, it was a whirlwind of a trip. I checked in at the hotel Friday afternoon, wedding on Saturday, day after session on Sunday, and I was back in LAX on Monday. Although it was a very short trip, I was determined to shoot some street scenes around the Battery Park area where I stayed. Specifically I wanted to shoot some good ‘ol 35mm film. I’ve been playing with film a lot more lately, and I just LOVE the tone and color of color film. It’s a look that is unique to film and honestly cannot be duplicated by digital cameras. The equipment I used was Canon EOS3, and I shot both Kodak Portra 400 and Fuji Color Film. I shot the entire series with my 50mm F1.2 lens, manual focus. Hope you guys love the photos!
