Ahhhh, where do I even start with this wedding?? Aimee & Joe got married at Villa Montanare, a beautiful villa nestled in the hills of Tuscany, Italy, that dates back to 1640. According to the website, “The Villa is perched on a hill on 420 meters overlooking a breathtaking panoramic view of the Val d’Esse and Val di Chiana Valley and surrounded by a paradisiac variety of cypresses, pines, figs, fruit trees, rosemary bushes, lavender, oleander, cacti, time-worn olive terraces and stone walls.”  Aimee is an extremely talented makeup artist herself based out of San Francisco. And I first met her when I was shooting a wedding at the Bently Reserve where she was the makeup artist. I remember her telling me she was getting married in Italy and how excited she was!  She asked me if I would shoot her wedding, and the rest is history!  We also had an amazing team of vendors that came together for the wedding, with everybody flying in from all over United States to make this dream wedding come true.
