You might remember this fun loving couple from their engagement session I shot a few months back. They chose the absolutely beautiful Cannon’s Restaurant in Dana Point for their ceremony and reception, and as you can see from the picture, the view was simply breath taking. We started in the morning at the maid of honor’s house for Julie’s getting ready shots then we shot part of their formals at the St. Regis Resort. The couple made the wise choice of going with their ‘first look.’ Not only we had enough time to get most of the formals out of the way before the ceremony, we also had time for additional portraits down by a beautiful beach!

The wedding had a beach theme with amazing details. The aisle was lined with starfish decorations, how cool is that?? I also believe this might be the only wedding in the history where the term “broke ass” is used in a wedding vow. 🙂 Trust me, it was one of the best vows I have heard!

Thank you to Julie & Freddie for your trust in me, and I am humbled to have been part of this special day. The mutual respect and genuine love you two showed each other is truly something remarkable. I look to more sushi dinners together in the future!

I want to give a big thank you to my awesome 2nd shooter Lorelei Conover who did a fantastic job as always. This is actually our third wedding together, and it’s always a treat to work with another photographer who takes documenting weddings as seriously as I do.
