Karen & Tim are married!!!

I met Karen almost two years ago working at the same wedding. We didn’t really get a chance to talk because it was a pretty hectic day. Then I ran into Karen again at ANOTHER wedding, I finally asked her name and added her as a friend on facebook. Karen now owns her own makeup studio called (appropriately) MakeUp by Karen Lee. Karen also did makeup on my wife for our very own family session last year, and she did a fantastic job. So fast forward about a year later, Karen got engaged to a great guy Tim. When we decided that I was going to shoot their wedding, I was SUPER excited. Skirball Cultural Center is on my photographer’s bucket list to shoot a wedding at. Great architecture, and so many different places to shoot. I was really glad they picked this venue. And when I got to Skirball Cultural Center on their wedding day, it did not disappoint. There is a walkway that covers almost 360 degrees of the plaza. AWESOMENESS. Karen & Tim chose to have both their ceremony & reception outdoors, so we were able to grab a lot of ‘aerial shots’. Kind of unique for a wedding!
