KELLY & KENNY WEDDING | VIZCAYA PAVILION, SACRAMENTO, CA

BANG!! Just like that, two weddings blogged in one weekend! This is part 1 of the wedding, part 2 will be up in a few days. I wanted to post this before the bride and groom go on their honeymoon.

You might remember their engagement session I shot a few months back in Sacramento. I literally have been counting the days until their big day. The wedding took place at the beautiful Vizcaya Pavilion in Sacramento and the day was nothing short of spectacular. Since the bride is my wife’s cousin, I had unparallel access to the wedding party before the wedding. Not to mention my own daughter was the flower girl, and she did such a great job! Daddy is so proud of you! Okay….back to the couple. Kelly and Kenny met at a rodeo where Kenny, in his spiffy looking army uniform, spotted a beautiful girl in the stands. Him and his buddies made their way over and shared some pizza with the girl. And that’s how the story began. And as they say, the rest is history. Fast forward to about 4 years later, they got married and we couldn’t be happier for them! Kenny and Kelly, thank you so much for your hospitality and we wish you guys nothing but the best life has to offer! Now enjoy the pictures, starting with the beautiful portrait of the bride and groom, and my award winning captions.

Special thanks to Tea Ho for second shooting the wedding with me on such a short notice. She rocked it with me!

OMG, look at the shoes. OMG, look at the shoes!

Working on her vows until the very last second. 🙂

Sometimes, less is more. As in this ring shot.

Most gorgeous flower girl, EVER.

The proud mother.

The bride’s father unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago. The bride’s mother walked her down the aisle and gave away her daughter on both her, and her father’s behalf. It was a very touching moment for all of us.

Have you ever seen a groom fist pump the new mother-in-law and then do a bomb explosion? Now you have.

A little personal touch, I am glad I was able to capture it for Kelly.

First dance as husband and wife. Again, congratulations to you both! Have fun in Cancun!
