Kira & Kalvin are married!

I met Kira & Kalvin last year at a local Tea Station over a cup of boba. I remember thinking to myself “they can’t POSSIBLY be this nice all the time.” But through out the whole planning process, they have proven to me they ARE that nice all the time.  They were always open to my ideas, and made sure photography was their #1 priority. You might remember their engagement session at Griffith Observatory and Los Angeles Central Library.   And it was also the first time I was introduced to Totoro.  Yes, WHO? I said the same thing, too. 🙂

Anyways, Kira & Kalvin picked a very unique wedding venue, The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. If you know anything about me, I love a good/challenging place to shoot.  It just forces me to be more creative!  I absolutely loved their wedding from top to bottom. And one thing that really stood out to me; there was a couple that had been married for 73, yes, SEVENTY THREE years. Holding hands, dancing the night away. How cool is that?? You can find their photo towards the bottom of the post.  Hope you all love the photos!

I want to give a special THANK YOU to Eva with Red Velvet Events for sending the referral this way. I’ve known Eva for almost 3 years now, and I’ve never worked with her company. She was involved in another online wedding magazine prior, and actually took a chance with me and published one of my very first weddings. So THANK YOU EVA!
