Trash the dress session, rock the dress session, day after session, bridal session, whatever you want to call it, this shoot was IT. Alferd & Kristine got married a little over a year ago, and the pictures they received were not what they had envisioned. I found out about their situation and we decided it would be fun to do a make-up shoot for them a year later. Before we get into the pictures (stay with me people), I need to stress the importance of a good photographer, ESPECIALLY for your wedding!! You, the groom/bride, need to really think about 30 years down the road, all you will have to remember the most important day of your lives will be photographs. I understand everybody has a budget for their wedding. Use the word “prioritizing” instead of budgeting. Prioritize what is most important for you and your future spouse. For some might be food, for some might be a great band, for others it might be open bar for a good PAAAARRRRRTTTYYY. But honestly, you will not remember any of it if you don’t have a great photographer. 🙂
Okay…now I am getting off my soap box. For this session we visited the Oak Glen area in Southern California. This area is known for its apple orchards. But since it’s the off season right now, it was not crowded at all. The area is also a photographer’s dream come true. Old abandoned barns, great scenery, natural landscape….This place has it all. We drove around the mountains and found these great spots. I hope you love the photos!
By the way, I have to mention, hair and makeup was provided by Serene Bridal Beauty. and they did an AMAZING job. Kristine looked absolutely stunning for this shoot!
