Karen & Henry are married! They were married at one of my favorite wedding venues, The Langham Resort Huntington in Pasadena (previously Ritz Carlton) and it was a gorgeous wedding. It was one of the longest weddings I’ve ever shot (about 15 hours), but it was well worth it. Henry &Karen’s families wanted their Hong Kong and Chinese traditions be infused into the wedding so we had two types of tea ceremony, an American ceremony, and finally a gorgeous reception. Karen had her gown and her bridesmaids’ gowns custom made and shipped from Hong Kong. It was probably one of the most intricate design I’ve ever seen for a wedding gown! The groom and his guys had to play quite a few games before they can see the bride. Including eating wasabi muffins, drinking vinegar….yeah you get the idea. Those poor guys. At the reception, Henry surprised Karen with a song, then the groomsmen sang a song as a tribute to the couple as well! Overall it was a great day of fun, and I’m so honored to have been part of it!
