From time to time, I do love to second shoot for some of my closest friends. Second shooting is a great opportunity to sharpen my skill as a photographer because I get to do things I normally wouldn’t do. I get to shoot DETAILS! A ton of details! I usually don’t get a chance to shoot the groom & groomsmen, so 2nd shooting also allows me the opportunity to get better at groom’s portraits.  Best thing? I get to be a fly on the wall and capture lots of candid moments.  For this wedding I second shot for one of my closets friends Kate Noelle with Kate Noelle Photography at one of my favorite wedding venues, ever. Brookside Equestrian Center. It’s a beautiful venue with lots of rustic details. It has to be one of the most popular and beautiful wedding venues in Southern California.  I shot there last year for Gary & Yolanda, which was also published on Ceremony Magazine Blog!  For this wedding, it also didn’t hurt that Mike & Kristin were super nice & down to earth.
